Grace 127, a ministry at FBC that serves foster and adoptive families, helps develop relationships between members of FBC Griffin and the foster/adoptive community.
We invite you to pray about how God might lead you to be involved in this ministry. Here are some ways that you might help:
* Volunteer with Fortify, which meets the second Saturday of every month for a “Shop and Drop”. You can volunteer your time or donate children’s items (in good condition) that you no longer need. They accept clothes, toys, baby items, and bedroom furniture. The next two morning meetings will be Saturday (February 14th) or March 14th. If you would like to participate, please call our church office (770-27-5517) for details.
* Donate a twin bed to Fortify — it is one of the most requested items.
* Become a CASA (a court appointed special advocate). Call our church office for more information.
* Donate to Grace 127 at FBC to help us provide gift cards to foster families. (go to https://fbcgriffin.org/give and select “Grace 127” from the drop down menu)
* Pray for foster families in our area.

FBC Griffin’s Grace 127 Ministry to foster families in the Griffin area would like to share information about Advo-Kids CASA (court appointed special advocate), an organization that trains volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system.
Grace 127 has collected diapers, wipes, hygiene products, toys, and stuffed animals for foster families. When a child moves into the foster care system, often that child is placed quickly in a new home and does not have the benefit of bringing many personal items along. Foster families may also find themselves receiving a new foster child suddenly and may not have the necessary items on hand to meet the child’s immediate needs. Grace 127 and Fortify step in the gap to help meet these needs, where possible.
