Student Ministry

Sundays

Students meet in the Student Center (the Basement below the Sanctuary) from 10:15 – 11:00 a.m. After an initial gathering time, they divide into Sunday school classes with their group leaders.

Wednesdays

6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. FLC Gym, then to the Student Center

Every Wednesday night starts out with games and fellowship, whether that’s in the gym or in the Student Center (the Basement). A time of worship follows, led by volunteers and the Student Minister. Students are encouraged to develop and share their talents during this time if they are gifted in the area of worship arts. During the evening, students will also hear a Gospel message and attend small groups.

What else can you expect to be part of your evening in the Student Ministry? Snacks (think popcorn, shakes, chips, or even pizza — depending on what’s going on). Wacky games (that may or may not involve a mess).

Most importantly, you will find an authentic love for Jesus and for every kid in the room when you visit the Student Ministry. We hope you’ll check it out.

Other Stuff

Building relationships takes investment and time — so we put in that time in other activities, too. Whether it’s a week at Basecamp in July for discipleship with students from around the state, or a ski trip in February (whether it’s 60 degrees at the slope or not), or a service project to help out our neighbors, our students have a heart for one another and for others.

Annual Ski Trip
