Women’s Ministry
Let our lives be a fragrant and lovely offering to the Lord.
A woman bears much responsibility in this world, and in trying to keep up, she often neglects herself — her emotional, spiritual, mental, and spiritual health.
We know that the journey can be made easier when we walk alongside friends. The FBC Women’s Ministry exists to foster those friendships among women that will encourage them in their walk with Christ.

What if, for a few days, you didn’t have anywhere you had to be? What if there were no long list of sessions to attend, no packed schedule to keep, and no expectation that you accomplish anything at all?
Come Away is an invitation to the women of FBC to slow down.
Set beside the beautiful marshes of Epworth by the Sea, this spring weekend is designed to give you something we don’t often make enough room for: time. Time with God. Time with friends. Time alone. Time to walk. Time to pray. Time to laugh. Time to breathe. Time simply to be. We’ll gather around Scripture in the morning and come together again in the evening for worship. And the hours in between? They’re yours. Walk beneath the live oaks. Find a quiet place beside the marsh. Take a book to the beach. Journal. Pray. Explore St. Simons. Shop with friends. Sit on the porch and talk. Watch the tide come in. Or take a nap. There is nowhere else you have to be.

Where? Epworth by the Sea, St. Simon’s Island, Georgia
Who? The retreat is open to members and active participants of FBC Griffin
Transportation? You will need to arrange for your own transportation to the retreat.
Registration opens January 1, 2027
Weekend Cost: Includes all materials and all meals except the Saturday evening meal.
All rooms are directly on the marsh with a beautiful balcony view. Participants will need to select their roommates. (Roommates must also be attending the retreat.)
Single Occupancy: $650 per person
Double Occupancy: $450 per person
Triple Occupancy: $350 per person
Quad Occupancy: $300 per person
