Weekday Education
Welcome to the Weekday Education Program at First Baptist Griffin!
Our program focuses on providing an atmosphere where young children can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, academically and physically. We have classes available for children age one through kindergarten. We appreciate the role you play as a parent, and we consider it a privilege to be a part of your child’s life. We look forward to seeing your child grow and develop.

Registration and Tuition
There is a non-refundable registration fee of $140 for each child. The registration fee for each additional child from the same family is $70. To register your child, complete the Registration Form and return it to the Weekday office.
For your benefit, the yearly tuition is prorated over a ten-month period. The fees are due and payable on the first day of each month beginning in August and ending in May. Payments are late after the 15th of the month and a late fee of $10 is charged after this date.

All fees are subject to change. A 10% discount on the tuition fee is allowed when there is more than one child from the same family.

Our staff is composed of Christians who are loving, caring, dedicated, qualified employees who are committed to the total growth of each child. All FBC Weekday Staff are members of the Georgia Preschool Association and attend yearly training for curriculum and safety.

Weekday Classes
Notice will be given on local radio stations if school is to be delayed or cancelled during bad weather. In general, the decision of the Griffin-Spalding County School System is followed.

Curriculum and Activities
The Ones, Twos, and Threes will use the Weekday Early Education and the Phonemic Awareness curriculums. Pre-K classes will use Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Big Day for Pre-K. Kindergarten classes will use Saxon Math and Saxon Phonics. Our teachers use thematic units along with Bible stories and Bible verses throughout the year that will incorporate the Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten content standards.
Our activities include centers, group time, story time, academics, art, music, Bible stories, chapel, library, physical education, special events, and field trips. We strive to enrich the child’s knowledge and expand their horizons.
