For so many, Advent is a time of hopeful anticipation. But for some, this time of year is a harsh reminder of life that once was. On this day — the winter solstice and the longest night of the year — we gather this evening to reflect on loved ones and our lives in their absence. We gather to shed tears if they come, to hold hands, to sing, and to pray, because we are not alone. Please join us at 6:00 p.m. in Bramblett Chapel for this experience.
