Ryan Cummings is a classical guitarist and native of Griffin, Georgia. After receiving his first guitar as a gift at the age of 13 Ryan dedicated himself to the relentless pursuit of wonderful musical experiences. Over the years he has cultivated a performing style that is quite unique and fun. Eschewing the traditional, proper approach to classical music, Ryan infuses his concerts with passion, laughter, and stories about the music he plays.
Ryan is also the owner and guitar instructor for the Griffin Academy of Music. Through this school he works to provide the residents of Spalding County and the surrounding areas with access to a high quality music education program where they can learn to fall in love with music of any genre. The Griffin Academy of Music is a member of The Griffin Area Arts Alliance and currently offers lessons for aspiring, singers, guitarists, pianists, drummers, and string players.
