June 30 at Camp Thunder
We are excited about those in our congregation who are coming forward to publicly proclaim their faith in Jesus and to follow him in baptism. As a community, we celebrate what God is doing in these lives. We invite you to join us on Sunday, June 30 as we enter into those baptismal waters once again.
Our service will take place at 4:00 p.m. at Camp Thunder. We will begin with a time of worship led by Ellee, Erin, and musicians from the Connexion Band and Celebration Choir. After the baptism, we will gather around the table for a time of food and family. Chicken (both fried and grilled) will be provided along with all the fixins. If you would be willing, we would invite you to bring a dessert to share.
If you would like to ride down on the church bus, we will be meeting at the covered porch outside the Family Life Center at 3:00 p.m.
Directions:
*Take Highway 19 to Zebulon.
*At the Zebulon square Turn RIGHT onto Highway 18 WEST towards Concord.
*Follow Highway 18 WEST through Concord and Molena to stop sign.
*Turn RIGHT or west on Highway 18/109/74 west FOR LESS THAN 1/4 of a mile and take dripping rock road to your LEFT.
*CAREFUL of the one lane bridge at the end of this not quite 2 mile road.
*At stop sign turn RIGHT towards the FLINT RIVER AREA.
*NO MORE TURNS…Follow road around until you see large pavilion with HUGE playground on your right!
