Join us on September 15th to hear beautiful music by Ken Medema and provide hope and healing to refugees through Amani Sasa

Doors will open at 5pm for registered attendees for a special meet and greet with Ken Medema. All Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on beautiful, handmade items from East Africa. 

Doors for non-registered attendees will open at 5:40pm. 

All proceeds will benefit Amani Sasa ministries.

Ken Medema (who happens to be blind) is a gifted musician who uses a piano and keyboard to create an experience that is not only interactive but truly unique to each occasion.  His heart is full for music, connection, and relationships. He has a passion for social justice, and his circle of friends around the world continues to grow. 

Some of Medema’s top songs over the years include “Moses,” “Jesus, Lover of My Soul,” “Flying Like an Eagle,” “Lord, Listen to Your Children Praying,” “Son Shiny Day,” “Oh, How He Loves You and Me,” and “Tree Song.”

Amani Sasa is a partner ministry of FBC Griffin. This ministry located in Kampala, Uganda that provides the most vulnerable refugee families access to safety, wholeness and empowerment so that they can live into their God-given potential. The Co-Executive Directors of Amani Sasa are Francis Angalla and Missy Ward-Angalla. Below, you will find a testimony and images from an FBC mission trip.

At 5:00 p.m., a Silent Auction will be open in the Family Life Center. This auction features many beautiful, hand-crafted items from Uganda, as well as paintings, gift baskets, and more. You can see a sample of just a few of the items pictured below. Come out and support this worthy cause!
