September 18 and 25
FBC Griffin is a “community of grace.” However, we recognize that grace is a journey, not a destination. As with any journey, there are often unexpected twists and turns in the road. Whatever your journey has been to this point, we are thankful that God has led you to First Baptist. We want to provide tools for you to help navigate your journey and give you a better understanding of this community that God is forming.
The Journey in Grace: Mission Class is intended to help members and regular attenders of First Baptist get involved with the various ministries of this congregation. We firmly believe that each person has been uniquely gifted and empowered by the Holy Spirit for some form of ministry. Therefore, this class is intended to help members discover their unique giftedness, learn more about the ministries of FBC Griffin, and identify the places where their gifts intersect with the various ministry opportunities.
This class will be taught by Steven Norris, the Associate Pastor at FBC and will meet on two consecutive Sundays during the Sunday school hour (9:45-10:45) on September 8 and 15. Sunday school classes are available for children of all ages, so we encourage families to plan to come together.
There is no registration necessary for this event. We will meet in room 300C in the Cheatham Building at 9:45 a.m.
