As a church family, we have chosen to adopt a special service project that will have a lasting and meaningful impact on our community. We are working in partnership with local agencies, including the Military Affairs, Salvation Army, the City of Griffin, Spalding County, and Southern Crescent Technical College to prepare a facility that will offer shelter and support services to homeless veterans in Griffin.
You can be part of this effort by making a financial contribution to the Community Engagement Fund at FBC Griffin using the button below. Indicate in the notes field that you are contributing to the Hope for Veterans project.
In this video, Pastor Steven Norris talks to Dr. Randy Peters about the project to help homeless veterans in the Griffin area.
As more details on this project become available, we will post updates here. You may also contact Seth Brown or Steven Norris for more information.
