Did you know that we have over 150 kids in foster care right here in Spalding County? James 1:27 says “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” Our new ministry for foster and adoptive families, “GRACE 127,” would like to provide “gotcha bags” for the children going into foster care and we need your help! During the season of Lent (March 6 – April 20), we will be collecting items to go in those bags. The following is a list of the items currently needed: Updated as of 3/17/2019

  • New toys for boys and girls for different ages 0-18
  • Kid and adult coloring books
  • Crayons and coloring pencils
  • Baby wash
  • Small bags of size 3 diapers
  • Hair Brushes /combs
  • New or newly made blankets for boys and girls
  • New stuffed animals
  • Kid toothbrushes for boys and girls
  • Kid and adult toothpaste
  • Bars of soap

There will be collection boxes for these items on both sides of the church. Thank you for your help in ministering to these children.
