Weekday Education

Welcome to First Baptist Church of Griffin, Georgia, and the Weekday Education Program. We believe that a good beginning for every child is of great importance. In Proverbs 22:6 it is written: “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Upcoming Events

Called Church Conference

During both worship services on July 19th, we will hold a brief, called church conference to vote on the proposed rennovations to our playground. More information can be found at the link below and members will receive information by email prior to the conference.

As our school system prepares to return for a new academic year, we want to set aside time to recognize our educators, pray for them, and encourage them with a special gift. We will do this during both worship services on Sunday, July 26th.

Our children and students will promote to the next grade level in Sunday school on August 2. Help us encourage them through prayer as they “Moove Up.” This Sunday would also be a great time to get involved in serving through our Children’s Ministry or Student Ministry. If you have been considering how you might help, please reach out to Lori Welborn or Seth Brown.
