We invite you to join us for a special Lenten worship service on March 2 in Bramblett Chapel. We will offer a service from 8:00-8:30 a.m. and from 12:15-12:45 p.m.

What is Lent and why do we observe it?

The season of Lent begins on March 2 this year and will continue until April 14. We dedicate these 40 days to repentance so that our hearts might be prepared for Easter.  Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness, where he prayed and fasted. All the while, he resisted and overcame temptation.

Lent offers us a special window of time in the calendar to reflect on the unfailing love and great grace of God, who sent His perfect Son to save an imperfect world. How will you follow Jesus’s example and resist temptation this season?

The Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of all who follow in the way of Jesus, and through the Spirit’s power, we have the victory over sin and death. We invite you to embrace Jesus if you have not already done so.
