A big thank you to everyone who helped to make the Fall Festival a wonderful event. We all enjoyed being at Ann Walker’s beautiful farm and event center. The hay rides, compliments of Zeke Harvey and the cake walk were probably the favorite of the children.
It could not have happened without Rhonda Pierce, a fearless coordinator, and Leila Wells Rogers’s attention to detail and organizational skills. To all my helpers who set up the event and the clean up helpers, please accept my sincere thanks.
The chili cook off was another big part of the evening. Thank you to all who contributed a pot. Lori Harvey took the gold medal, Michael O’Connor took the silver medal, and Janet & Chuck Prothro took the bronze medal.
Thank you, Marie Knight, for coordinating the cake walk and to everyone who brought the fabulous cakes and goodies. Our MC Batman, aka Steve Brown, kept us all entertained.
We had a glorious evening of fellowship and fun for all ages. Whether your game was Bingo or corn hole, there was an opportunity to share in activity and laughter. We’re already looking forward to Fall Festival 2022!
