Nine members of First Baptist Griffin had the wonderful opportunity of attending the annual meeting of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s General Assembly which met in Birmingham, Alabama on June 19-21. We were inspired and challenged in the worship services and breakout sessions. We had the privilege of participating in the business of the Fellowship as well as learning about the work of the Fellowship in advocacy and missions. Getting to visit with three of our mission partners, Anna and LaCount Anderson and Missy Ward-Angalla, was an extra treat. Next year the General Assembly will be held in Atlanta June 24-26. We look forward to having a large group from First Baptist in attendance!
