As we prepare to resume in-person gatherings at First Baptist, one of our high priorities is reopening our Ministry Center, which includes the Benevolence Ministry and Clothes Closet. This ministry helps us to fulfill our calling of being the hands and feet of Christ and showing love to our neighbors here in Griffin and Spalding County. Through this ministry, we can also help connect clients with appropriate organizations in our community to meet real needs related to hunger, documentation, clothing, and other forms of assistance.
However, we recognize that some of our most faithful volunteers in these ministries are often those still at the highest risk for infection of this COVID 19 pandemic. Therefore, we are asking for help. Our current office hours are Monday mornings from 8:30-10:00 am for Benevolence and Monday and Wednesday for the Clothes Closet.
