FBC Preschoolers on a Journey to God: Beginning Faith Steps

Sunday School @ 9:45 a.m. in the CEC Building
Our preschool children are taught Bible stories using Gospel Light curriculum and the love of God is shared with them by adult leaders who use age appropriate activities. Throughout the room centers are used to help in your child's spiritual and physical development. Preschoolers are promoted according to their developmental stages until the age of two and after the age of two children are promoted yearly based on their age as of September 1. All classes are located in the Child Enrichment Center and parents need to check in at the Beeper Station located inside the double doors on Popular Street.

Wednesday Night @ 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. in CEC Building
After the family meal the Child Care Center opens at 5:30 for children birth through two years of age. Parents are asked to check-in at the Beeper Station to secure a beeper. Beepers are used for communication and security purposes. Three and four year old classes begin at 5:45 with Singers class and then they are moved to the Servers class focusing on mission and scripture. Servers use the CBF mission curriculum. These classes are located in the CEC.

*The Kindergarten class is located on the second floor of the Cheatham building along with other children's programming.

**Walkers and Twos use CBF mission curriculum and music by Jana Alayra.

Security
Providing a safe environment is very important. We practice the guidelines of Safe Sanctuary and have a Shepherd located at the Beeper Station during all services. Parents are asked to fill out a Registration Form and are given beepers to ensure quick communication and safe pick-up procedures. All guidelines and expectations for the preschool area are located in the Children’s Ministry Resource Handbook .

Learning about God’s love and child care is available during the 8:45 and 11:00 a.m. hours of worship for our children age three and under. Volunteers serve each week in this ministry and to volunteer please contact Denel James, Minister to Children.

Children's Church

During the 11:00 worship service ages 4 - 2nd grade can attend Children's Church. Children will go to worship with their parents and leave before the sermon for a uniquely designed message. Parent's can pick up their children after the service on the second floor of the Cheatam building.

Directions to Our Child Enrichment Center
The entrance to the Child Enrichment Center is located on Popular Street and there is a turnaround for easy access for families. The Beeper Station is located to the left of the entrance. The most convenient parking is located across the street at the Scout Hut.
